Instagram Shop
In Commerce you can make settings for your Instagram Shop business. To start making the settings, there are 3 important steps:
Make sure your Instagram account is already linked to your Business Manager account
Create Instagram Shop settings in the Business Manager account
Confirm your domain for your Instagram Shop approve process
Step 1: Connect your Instagram account with your Business Manager account
a. Log in your Business Manager account.
b. Click on the icon (rectangular dot) and click on Business settings
c. Click on Instagram accounts
e. Select your Business Manager account and click Add
Once done you can proceed to the next step
Step 2: Instagram Shop settings
a. On the same page, you need to click again on the icon (rectangular dot) and click on Catalog Manager/Commerce Manager
b. Click on Add Shop button.
c. On the Get Started page you can click the Next button
d. On the Choose checkout method page you can select Checkout on another website and click Next
e. On the Choose sales channels page, you need to select on the FB page and your Instagram account that has been linked to your Business Manager account just now and click Next
f. Next, you will be asked to enter your company Email. After entering the details, you can click Submit
g. On the Add product page you can select the Catalog you have created before and click Next
h. On the Preview page you can tick on the requested verification and click Finish Setup
You have finished setting up your Instagram Shop. Next, you will receive 1 notification from IG for your domain verification process. (This notification will take some time for you to receive)
Step 3: Domain Verification
a. Next, you will receive a notification as shown below.
b. You can click the notification and click Get Email
c. Next, you need to check your Email and open the Email that has been sent by Instagram
c. After you open the email you can click Verify Website
d. When you click the button, you will be taken back to your Business Manager account page.
e. For the verify process you can click on the Meta-tag Verification tab
f. Next, you can save the code they have given you
g. After you save the code you need to open your Commerce account
h. On the Commerce dashboard, you can click on Online store
i. Click on Customize button.
j. You need to scroll down and click on the Other settings tab
k. In the Custom meta field, you can enter the code that you just copied just now
l. Once done, click on Save button.
m. Next, you need to go back to the Verify page of the website and click on the Verify button
n. Once you receive a pop up like the one shown below, it means that your verify process has been successful.
Upon completion you will receive a notification on your Instagram account regarding the successful verification process and the setting of your Instagram Shop has also been successful.
