Domain Migration
To set up your migration domain from the old Shoppegram server (172.104.38.145) to the new Commerce server (your own IP) you can refer to the tutorial below:
Part 1: Value A Record and CNAME Record
1. You can log in to the Commerce dashboard
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on Custom domain
4. Click on Add existing domain
5. Later you will be able to see a popup that has a value for your A record and your CNAME record.
You need to save the Value for A record and the CNAME record for you to enter in your domain's DNS record in the domain provider's system later.
Part 2: Make settings in the provider's domain account
1. You need to log in to your Domain provider account and go to the DNS Manager section to edit the DNS records to point to the new DNS Commerce in the following ways:-
On the A record, you can replace the value in it with the value of your own A record.
On the CNAME record, you can replace the value in it with the value @ or your own domain name
Both of these records are important and mandatory for users using the primary domain. For users who use subdomains, they only need to set A record only.
So the record you have made should look more or less like the picture below.
If you want to use your own subdomain (for own domain), for example, kedai.websitesaya.com, you only need to add a single A record and a point to the value of your own A record without the need for a CNAME.
Additional information:
To ensure that your DNS has been pointed to your Commerce, you can check your DNS here and make sure that the displayed DNS is your own IP number.

In the A record dropdown, you can enter your domain name without the www.
Referring to the image below, to check if your domain has propagated
You can enter your domain name (including www if you have set up CNAME record in your Domain Provider) in the provided field.
Propagation Period
You only need to wait for a period of 48 hours for the setting to be read and your domain can be used before you make a Custom domain setting in Shoppegram.
The shortest time your domain can be used is within 1 hour. If not, you need to wait for a period of 48 hours to 72 hours. You can check the status of your domain propagation through the link we provided (https://www.whatsmydns.net/)
3. Once you click the "Lookup!" you will be able to see your A Record as in the display below.
Resetting in Commerce
So when the DNS is already pointed to Commerce.
1. Log in to the Commerce dashboard -> Settings -> Custom Domains click on the trash can icon button
2. Then you can click on Add existing domain and enter your domain name without www, and click the Connect button
Now your domain is connected. You need to wait 24 - 72 hours for this domain to work using your Custom domain.
If your Custom domain is ready and usable, the following example display will appear.
The words Connected and SSL activated will be green. This situation will only happen if all the settings that have been done above are correct.
